Barefoot Body Therapy is more than a restorative, relaxing experience. It is an effective way to help heal and maintain healthy tissue.

BBT is a fusion of Eastern and Western techniques. It is based on Western deep tissue work such as Trigger Point, Structural Integration, Cross Friction, Passive Movement and Swedish. The Eastern influence is the adaptation of these styles to ancient methods of application where the practitioner uses her feet, instead of hands, elbows or forearms, to massage the client.

Deep Tissue therapy focuses on realigning deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia (connective tissue). BBT has the potential to help restore your body physically (aches and pains), mentally (stress) and spiritually (peace of mind).

Because the therapist can apply a broad range of non-invasive pressure and bearing angles using her foot and controlled body weight, she is able to combine techniques to work comfortably and effectively.

If you crave a massage that offers exquisitely deep, satisfying pressure without the feel of sharp elbows, Barefoot Body Therapy should be a welcome relief.
